Grown from a rare plant varietal called Maracaturra, La Ventaja is an enormous coffee packed with delicate flavors. Maracaturra comes from a hybrid of two bean varieties Caturra and the so-called “Elephant Bean”, Maragogipe. This specialty coffee has tea-like body with an elegant cup profile. Notes of stone fruit are subtle and flavors in the aftertaste are like salted caramel. We’re excited to bring this delicious micro-lot coffee to you this summer!
